Ava Da Costa Maia is a Welsh comedian, writer, and public speaker based in Swansea. Drawing on her experiences as a mother, NHS professional, and motivational coach, her stand-up comedy weaves together stories of dating disasters, parenting struggles, and workplace absurdities. Known for her sharp wit and authentic storytelling, Ava blends humour with insight, often touching on resilience, risk, and transformation—topics she also explores in her corporate speaking and leadership roles. When not performing, she works in senior emergency preparedness and crisis leadership within the NHS, making her a rare and compelling voice in the UK comedy scene.
