• Parade Time: Parade leaves village square at 1:00p.m.
• Carnival events, food and bar at the Morfa from 2:00p.m.

We have a range of categories to encourage participation from everyone. Start planning your float or fancy dress to compete in one of the following:

3. Best Girl Under 16
4. Best Adult Female
5. Best Walking Group (Glan Evans Shield)
6. Best Boy Under 16
7. Best Adult Male
8. Best Non-motorised Float (Bike, Wheelbarrow, Pram, etc.)

How to Participate:

• Plan Your Entry: Whether it’s a float, a group costume, or a solo fancy dress, start planning your entry now. Creativity and originality are key!
• Register Your Entry: Ensure you sign up your entry for the parade. Details Kay or The Village Stores.
• Prepare for the Parade: Make sure your float or costume is ready for the big day. Gather your materials, assemble your team, and get crafting!

Important Information:

• Parade Start Time: The parade will kick off at 1:00p.m. so be sure to arrive early to get into position.
• Route: Village Square
• Awards and Prizes: Exciting prizes and trophies await the winners of each category, including the prestigious John Thomas Cup and the Glan Evans Shield.
